Green environment has two modes. On which human can switch its protection or degradation. But these two modes provide different results. Where the protection of green helps to protect our nature and biodiversity but, on another hand, degradation always leads to the destruction of natural things. Soumyadip Majumdar is a B.A. LL.B student at the Department of Law, University of Calcutta, and a young poet with several noted publications in Bengali and English. A versatile creative spirit, he paints, designs book covers, and plays the guitar, tabla, flute, and sings.

He has received multiple literary honours, including the Sukumar Ray, Binoy Majumdar, Kobiguru, Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, Manik Bandyopadhyay, and Sakti Chattopadhyay Smriti Sahitya Sammans, along with Literoma Baal Kriti Samman and Yuva Samman (2024). His English poetry earned him the "Manju Sriti Sahitya Samman" at the 6th International Literary Festival. He was also felicitated as a Guest at the 5th International Peace Conference 2025 in North Bengal and recently received the Golden Pen Award 2025 from the Bongo Silpo Society.

His published works include Moner Katha (co-authored with Prof. Dr. Debdoot Mukherjee), Drishtikon, SABDASINDHU, and The Vision of Sea.
